
(Patria) - Police officers of the Ilidža Police Directorate, under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, today deprived 31-year-old N.H. from Sarajevo of his liberty due to grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of Endangering Security (Article 183, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), False Reporting (Article 347, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), Illegal Possession of Weapons or Explosives (Article 371 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), and Possession of Weapons without the Approval of the Competent Authority (Article 74 of the Law on Public Order and Peace of Sarajevo Canton).
The arrested man is suspected of having falsely reported, via telephone, five times during June this year that an explosive device had been planted in the Ilidža Health Center building, thereby causing a disruption in the work of this health institution, as well as distress to staff, patients, and the general public.
During a search of the apartment used by the suspect in the Ilidža area, one homemade rifle, two pistols, two air rifles, a certain amount of live ammunition, and other items of interest to the investigation were found.
Criminal processing is being carried out on the suspect in the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
