31-year-old from East Sarajevo Arrested: Stole Vehicles in Sarajevo Canton with Accomplice, BMW Found in Garage

Officers of the Fifth Police Department arrested yesterday around 3 p.m. N.M., born in 1986 in Sarajevo, residing in East Sarajevo, on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of grand theft, reports the Patria agency.

The day before, police officers of the PS East Sarajevo found a passenger motor vehicle of the brand "BMW" in the garage owned by the arrested N.M. on Vojvode Radomira Putnika Street, municipality of East Sarajevo, which was stolen on August 6 from Kurt Schork Street, municipality of Ilidža.

During the criminal investigation, it was established that N.M., together with another person whose identity is known to police officers and who is being sought, committed several criminal offenses of grand theft of passenger motor vehicles in the area of Sarajevo Canton.

N.M. will be handed over, along with a report on the committed criminal offenses, to the competent prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo.
