On September 9, 2015, at 7:30 PM, police officers from the Department for Combating Drug Abuse of this Ministry deprived M.M., born in 1988 in Sarajevo, where he resides, of his liberty due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and placement of narcotic drugs on the market, and unauthorized possession of weapons or explosive materials, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
During a personal search, as well as a search of the apartment he uses at Salke Nazečića Street, Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, the following items were found and seized:
- 12 grams of a substance resembling the narcotic drug heroin,
- equipment for repackaging drugs,
- a pistol of the brand “Pietro Berreta, cal. 7.65 mm, with a magazine and 7 rounds of the same caliber,
- 10 rounds of various calibers,
- 2 mobile phones, and
- a certain amount of money originating from drug trafficking.
The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the above, and M.M. was handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers continue working on clarifying and documenting the criminal activities of the said person.
