25-year-old arrested for throwing a bomb in Kovači

Police officers of the First Police Station today around 1:50 PM found and apprehended Z.Dž., born in 1992 in Sarajevo, where he resides, due to grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of causing general danger and endangering safety, writes Patria agency.

- There are grounds for suspicion that on 09/18/2017 at 11:50 PM in Arapova Street, Old Town Sarajevo municipality, he activated an explosive device in the yard of a family house owned by T.E. from Sarajevo. During a search of the apartment used by Z.Dž. in the Novi Grad Sarajevo municipality, a "Zoraki" pistol with an empty magazine and a mobile phone were found and confiscated.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed, and Z.Dž. was handed over to the Unit for securing facilities and detaining persons deprived of liberty of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers are continuing their work to document his criminal activities. 

Otherwise, there were no injuries in the explosion, but two cars were damaged and a dog that was in the yard was injured.
