16-year-old arrested for hitting police officer with a car

(Patria) - Police officers of the Ilidža Police Administration arrested a minor on January 3rd,
born in 2009 from Sarajevo, due to grounds for suspicion that they committed a criminal offense under Article 359 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina: Assault on an official person in the performance of security duties, to the detriment of a police officer of the Ilidža Police Administration.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed about the incident, and the arrested minor was handed over to the detention facilities for detained persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

We remind you that police officers of the Ilidža Police Administration, the day before, during a regular traffic control in Kasindolska Street, attempted to stop the driver of a VW Passat motor vehicle.

The driver of this vehicle ignored the lawful order of the police officer, did not stop, and hit the police officer with the vehicle, throwing him onto the roadway.

The police officer sustained minor bodily injuries at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo.
