Fire extinguished at Rajlovac barracks, no injuries reported

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – A fire broke out in the production hall of the Rajlovac barracks around 14:03, and six teams of the Sarajevo Professional Fire Brigade were dispatched to the scene, confirmed for NAP from the PVB.

„Our teams quickly localized the fire, there are no injured persons, and we are working on clearing the area,“ said the PVB.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Uma Sinanović, confirmed that a fire occurred in one of the halls.

"With the help and cooperation of members of the Armed Forces of BiH, the further spread of the fire was stopped. There are no fatalities or injured persons. The Armed Forces of BiH have formed a Team for continuous monitoring of the situation on the ground, as well as determining the cause and circumstances under which the fire occurred," stated the Ministry of Defence of BiH.
