Fire extinguished on Treskavica after burning for two days

After 2 hours and 20 minutes of flight and engagement in the Treskavica area, the BiH Armed Forces helicopter successfully completed the firefighting mission today around 4 PM, which was carried out in accordance with procedures and at the request of the Ministry of Security of BiH (Operational-Communication Centre 112), reports the BiH news agency Patria.

During the firefighting operation in the inaccessible and mined terrain of Treskavica, the BiH Armed Forces MI-MTV8 helicopter dropped 21 buckets of water, and after completing the task, the helicopter crew returned to the Rajlovac base. 

This is another successful operation by the BiH Armed Forces, which always show readiness to engage, upon the request of civil authorities and within available capacities, in providing assistance to the civilian population and authorities.
