Association 'Ruku na srce' brought 4,000 children's smiles

(Patria) - The association "Ruku na srce" today in the "Goran Čengić" Sports Hall in Sarajevo, with the event "No child without a gift", began the final phase of the project of the same name.
Within this project, today and during the following days, 4,000 children from families with lower material status from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina will be delighted with New Year's gifts.

In addition to distributing gifts, children had the opportunity to watch the New Year's play "Atelier for Altering Fairy Tales and Inventing Legends" prepared by the association's volunteers.

After the play, children could socialize with their favorite fairy tale characters and Santa Claus, and have fun with creative workshops. More than a hundred young people, mostly students and high school students, worked on the realization of the project over the past three months.

Emphasizing the fact that the project has been realized for thirteen consecutive years, the president of the association "Ruku na Srce", Hana Hodžić, said: "Being a part of this story, which aims to delight our youngest, creates an indescribable feeling of happiness, love, and pride".

She reminded that only with a large number of donors and volunteers, as well as with the support of the media, can they tell such big and beautiful stories, and that they are therefore very grateful to everyone who participates in the actions of the association "Ruku na srce".

"Everything the association does for us and our children is wonderful. We are endlessly grateful for the joy our children feel when they receive a New Year's gift, it means a lot to us," said one of the parents.
