The Friends of BH Association strongly condemns today's attack on the N1 news team during the Ravna Gora Movement gathering in Višegrad and demands immediate sanctioning of the attackers by the authorities, according to a statement from the association, reports the Patria News Agency.
Today's lining up and parading in Višegrad is not and cannot be a "folkloric gathering", as all those who protect followers of fascist ideology persistently try to present it.
It is a demonstration of force with the aim of intimidating Bosniaks who have returned to live in their city, but also a message to others that they are not welcome in that environment.
We remind that a few years ago, in one of the strategies developed by the Ministry of Security of BiH, the Ravna Gora Movement was listed as an organization that could pose a threat to the national security of the state, but that it suddenly disappeared from the list in later documents.
Today's events in Višegrad are a reason to re-examine which organizations truly threaten national security, and to adopt a law on the prohibition of fascist activities in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH as soon as possible.
There are already sanctions provided in the criminal legislation of BiH for inciting inter-ethnic and inter-religious hatred, and therefore there are no obstacles for all those who today in Višegrad, with their curses and Chetnik orgies, have committed this criminal offense, to be adequately punished.
