Association Pomozi.ba launches appeal again for the treatment of Sead Mustafić who has a brain tumor

(Patria) - The Association Pomozi.ba has launched an appeal for the treatment of Sead Mustafić from Zenica who has a brain tumor. The humanitarian number 17041 has been activated for him, and each call donates 2 KM, and the number is unique for all telecom operators in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sead is a 55-year-old father of two beautiful daughters who, along with his wife Lejla, are his greatest support in his fight against the disease.

He was diagnosed with this serious illness in 2016 and began treatment then.
Initially, he had two brain tumor surgeries, the first in our country where doctors could not completely remove the tumor, so only a biopsy was performed, and soon after, the second in Turkey, where the tumor was completely removed.

This was followed by exhausting radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and after them, he developed pulmonary embolism.
After this complication, epileptic seizures began, which he could not treat with antiepileptics, and after an MRI scan in October 2023, he learned that the disease had recurred with rapid progression.

The first cycle of treatment in Istanbul, which includes radiation and chemotherapy, has already been completed, and the chemotherapy has been extended for another 6 cycles. Sead's treatment requires 15,900 euros, and the Association Pomozi.ba has given the clinic a guarantee to cover the treatment costs.
