Pomozi.ba association launched a campaign to help the people of Sandžak

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Pomozi.ba association has launched a campaign to collect aid for the cities of Sandžak where a state of emergency has been declared due to coronavirus and a large number of infected people.

"According to the information we received, the situation in Sandžak is quite difficult, especially in Novi Pazar. In the past few days, we have received a large number of inquiries and requests for help for people from that region, which is why we decided to react quickly. We are carrying out this campaign in coordination with some diaspora associations - stated the Pomozi.ba association.

Those who wish to can donate money in the coming days to help the residents of the Sandžak municipalities where a sharp increase in the number of coronavirus infections is being recorded. The Pomozi.ba association has already provided 50,000 protective masks, and the collected money will be used to purchase protective and other medical equipment, as well as disinfectants that are lacking in local health institutions.
