Association of Palestinians in BiH: Trump's deal is a blow to peace!

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Palestinians have always fought for peace and built lives, but in the farce we witnessed, US President Donald Trump, together with Benjamin Netanyahu, presented in Jerusalem, the eternal capital of Palestine, what he himself called the "Peace Deal of the Century". The offered document is anything but a call for peace!

On this occasion, the Association of Palestinians in BiH, in a press release signed by Majed Maarouf, states:

- We are witnessing a political diversion aimed at giving Israeli colonialists and the far-right Israeli wing, led by a corrupt prime minister, an instrument to continue the genocide against the Palestinian people and annex settlements in the occupied territory.
- This plan, which is absurd to even call a plan, given that the Palestinian side was never consulted in its development, is a list of the Israeli government's wishes: to confirm Israel's sovereignty over Jerusalem, to annex Jewish settlements in the West Bank and the northern Dead Sea, and to prevent the return of Palestinians to the cities and villages from which they were forcibly expelled.
- This is just an election performance for Israeli and American domestic political needs to divert public attention from the events involving Trump and Netanyahu. While Trump is being tried in the US Senate for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, the Israeli prime minister has been indicted for corruption.
- Trump and Netanyahu want to present the understandable Palestinian rejection of this shameful plan to the world as a "green light" for Israel to continue assassinations and murders of Palestinian leaders, expulsion and detention of activists, destruction of homes, and collective expulsion, all under the accusation that they rejected the "peace" plan.

Despite all this, these political games will not weaken the will of the Palestinian people, who will continue their struggle for their lives, human rights, peace, and a state with Jerusalem as its capital.
