(Patria) - Five people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred this afternoon near Kakanj.
The accident happened shortly after 3 PM on the A-1 highway, in the direction of Sarajevo - Zenica, when a Passat collided with a stopped maintenance vehicle.
The duty officer at the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) stated that all injured persons were in the passenger vehicle and have been transferred to the Zenica Cantonal Hospital.
- We do not yet have information on their condition. Traffic has been completely stopped, and police authorities are conducting an investigation - the cantonal MUP announced.
