Accident near Srebrenik: EUFOR vehicle went off the road and hit a traffic sign

(Patria) - A traffic accident involving an EUFOR off-road military vehicle occurred today on the M1.8 main road, near the Drenik tunnel in Srebrenik.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton Adnana Sprečić confirmed to Patria that the accident was reported to the Srebrenik Police Station at 5:10 PM.

The driver of the EUFOR vehicle, she stated, lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons, causing it to go off the road and hit a traffic sign.

EUFOR military police and a police team from Srebrenik are currently at the scene, conducting an investigation.

As visible in the video published on social media, the EUFOR vehicle sustained significant material damage. There is no information about any injuries at this time.


Traffic is moving slowly on the mentioned section.
