(Patria) - Police in Travnik arrested a man (50) who on Thursday evening in a facility in the Karaula area of Travnik killed a 36-year-old with an automatic rifle.
As reported by the Ministry of Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton, on Thursday around 10:15 PM, the Travnik Police Station received a report that in a facility in the Karaula area, municipality of Travnik, N.K. (born 1974) used a firearm – an automatic rifle – to inflict serious bodily injuries on the victim M.Z. (born 1988), who died at the scene.
N.K. then fled in an unknown direction.
Immediately after receiving the report, police officers arrived at the scene, confirmed the details of the report, and began taking measures and actions within their jurisdiction.
Through a quick and efficient response, police officers located and apprehended the suspect N.K. In cooperation with the competent Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Central Bosnia Canton, measures and actions are being taken to document and prove the criminal offense of murder.
