Murder in Milići, man stabbed to death

(Patria) - A man with initials R.M. was stabbed to death in the village of Krajčinovići near Milići, and the suspect M.B. from Milići was quickly arrested.

Local police were notified yesterday around 3:45 PM that a person identified as R.M. was brought to the Health Center, having succumbed to injuries sustained from stab wounds.

Acting on the report, police officers learned that the murder was preceded by a verbal and physical altercation between two individuals in the locality of Krajčinovići.

The suspect in the murder, M.B., was arrested at 4:20 PM, and a breathalyzer test determined he had 1.85 per mille of alcohol in his blood.

The police conducted an investigation at the scene in the presence of the duty prosecutor from the District Public Prosecutor's Office in East Sarajevo.

By order of the prosecutor, the victim's body was transported for an autopsy to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of the Republika Srpska.

After the completion of the criminal investigation, M.B. will be handed over to the competent prosecutor's office for further proceedings.
