POLICE MURDER Searches still ongoing, several persons to give statements

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In an operation conducted under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office, and by order of the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo, members of SIPA searched several locations. 

"Searches are still ongoing in the area of East Sarajevo and Pale. So far, several facilities have been searched, including an office of the Pale Police Administration. Certain evidence has been found and seized, which will be used as part of the investigation into the murder of Sarajevo police officers. Also, several persons will be summoned today to give statements. Otherwise, no one has been deprived of liberty so far. Since field activities are still ongoing, more information will be known only after their completion," stated Azra Bavčić, spokesperson for the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office. 

As previously reported by Istraga.ba, the prime suspect for the murder of the police officers, Aleksandar Macan, is not in BiH, while the office of his wife, employed by the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska, was searched today.
