U2 held a concert at Koševо 19 years ago

19 years ago today, the Irish band U2, led by Bono Vox, held a concert at the Olympic Stadium Koševо. The song Miss Sarajevo was performed at that concert, where Pavarotti's voice was reproduced from an old gramophone, writes the BH news agency Patria.

At one point during the concert, Bono lost his voice, and after the audience noticed, there was an incredible applause of support. Larry Mullen later stated that the concert was worth all 20 years of his performances, and that he would do another 20 for such a concert. Bono stated that such a thing had never happened to him before, and that in similar situations with a visibly damaged voice, he would probably have been booed, not rewarded with fanatical applause.
