(Patria) - Three people, including two children, were killed in an air strike on the Ukrainian capital early Thursday morning, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and military authorities announced.
"Three people were killed and four injured in the Desnyansky district," the Kyiv military administration announced on Telegram.
"Among the dead in the Desnyansky district are two children (5-6 and 12-13 years old)," the same source added.
Klitschko wrote on Telegram: "According to initial information received from rescue teams, three dead, including two children, and four injured were found" in that part of Kyiv.
Several Russian missiles have been fired at the Ukrainian capital this week.
On Monday, Kyiv residents had to seek shelter due to an unusual daytime attack.
