Member of Supervisory Board Fejsal Hrustanović wounded in Elektroprivreda building

In a shooting that occurred around 10 a.m. in the Elektroprivreda building, member of the Supervisory Board of this company Fejsal Hrustanović (born 1946) was wounded, the Bosnian news agency Patria has learned.

As one employee of Elektroprivreda stated, a young man entered the building with a pistol and shot a member of the Supervisory Board.

In a telephone conversation, the General Director of EP BiH Elvedin Grabovica said that he is at the hospital with the wounded Hrustanović.

The attacker has been arrested, confirmed by the Operations Center of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, and the duty prosecutor conducted an investigation. The suspect has not yet been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.

After diagnostics, it was determined that Hrustanović sustained injuries to the right side of the chest and the right thigh. He has been placed in the Abdominal Surgery department of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, confirmed Muamera Šehić, spokesperson for the Clinical Center.

WHO IS FEJSAL HRUSTANOVIĆ

He was born in 1946 in Sarajevo. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Sarajevo. He worked at Jugobanka/Union banka Sarajevo, where from 1988 to 1993 he served as general director. He held positions as director of finance and investments at Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo and general director of Triglav BH Osiguranja d.d. Sarajevo, where he currently serves as an advisor to the Company's Management Board.
He does not own shares in JP Elektroprivreda BiH d.d. – Sarajevo, nor shares/stakes in companies that could be considered competitors to the Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine d.d. - Sarajevo.
