14 killed, more than 30 injured in bus fire

14 people were killed and more than 30 injured in a bus fire in northern China, reports the Patria news agency. Police are searching for a person suspected of causing the accident, authorities said.

The incident occurred in Yinchuan, the capital of the Ningxia region, around 7:00 a.m. local time, said a spokesperson for the regional fire department. 

She said firefighters extinguished the blaze within 10 minutes, but 14 people were killed and 32 were injured. According to her, the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. 

Police are searching for a suspect, Ma Yongping, in connection with what was described as a "major crime," reported state broadcaster CCTV, and confirmed by security officials, agencies report.
