(Patria) - In the Mostar settlement of Zalik early this morning, February 14, the lifeless body of a man was found, and the police confirmed it was a murder.
The Mostar Police Department received a report this morning around 3:20 AM from emergency medical service workers, who confirmed the death of a male individual at the scene.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Ilijana Miloš, confirmed that the investigation indicates a violent death.
"Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that this was a criminal offense of murder," stated Miloš, adding that the identity of the deceased is still being determined.
The investigation at the scene is being led by the duty prosecutor. The police state that more details about the motives and the perpetrator will be known after all investigative actions are completed.
