Amar Šljivo arrested in Vogošća on BiH Court warrant, weapons, drugs, money found

(Patria) - Acting on a central warrant from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, in cooperation with officers of the Intelligence-Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, found and apprehended a male individual A.Š. (1975) in the area of Vogošća municipality. The individual is Amar Šljivo, previously convicted.

A search of the house and auxiliary facilities used by the suspect was conducted, and the following were found and seized: four rifles, one pistol with a magazine and nine rounds of ammunition, one hand grenade, 75 rounds of ammunition of various calibers, 11 PVC packages containing a dry, herbaceous substance resembling marijuana, with a total weight of approximately two kilograms,
a certain amount of money in EUR currency, and other items of interest to the investigation.

On the central warrant issued by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 04/27/2016 due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Trafficking of Weapons, Military Equipment, and Dual-Use Products (Article 193 of the Criminal Code of BiH), as well as due to grounds for suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs (Article 195 of the Criminal Code of BiH), Unauthorized Possession of Weapons or Explosive Materials (Article 371 of the Criminal Code of FBiH), a criminal offense under Article 74 of ZONDINOIM, and the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of FBiH), the 48-year-old A.Š. was apprehended and placed in the Detention Unit for Apprehended Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.
