
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The duty service of the Seventh Police Station was informed on Monday, April 13, 2020, at 12:20 PM that a fire broke out in the place of Krivoglavci, Vogošća municipality, which engulfed about two dunams of meadows and five dunams of low vegetation and forest, owned by PUC „Sarajevo Forests“.
Upon arriving at the scene, police officers confirmed the allegations from the report, and members of the Sarajevo Canton Fire Brigade localized the fire.
The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed about the event, and an investigation was carried out by police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, with the engagement of a court expert in fire protection.
On that occasion, it was established that the fire was caused by the dumping of unextinguished ash residues by an unknown person on the edge of a fenced meadow, which ignited the grass, and then the low vegetation and forest. Police officers continue to work on clarifying and documenting the circumstances under which the said fire was caused, as well as identifying and finding the perpetrator.
