Trial continues on Tuesday: Serbian soldiers, witnesses for the BiH Prosecution, have so far testified in Orić's favor

On Tuesday, April 19, the trial of the wartime commander and hero of the defense of Srebrenica, Nasir Orić, and his comrade Sabahudin Muhić continues at the Court of BiH, writes the news agency Patria.

The indictment, filed at the end of August last year, charges Orić and Muhić with committing a war crime in 1992 in the area of Bratunac and Srebrenica by killing three prisoners of war of Serbian ethnicity.

The indictment charges them with killing Slobodan Ilić, Milutin Milošević and Mitro Savić in 1992 in the villages of Zalazje, Lolići and Kunjerac.

In the course of the trial so far, witnesses for the BiH Prosecution, members of the RS Army, have testified in favor of the accused. In their statements, they denied Orić's guilt, thus debunking all the lies of the controversial protected witness O1.

For the record, protected witness O1 has been convicted multiple times for false representation, fraud, causing grievous bodily harm, abuse of social insurance rights, and has even been charged with robbery. A court proceeding is ongoing because he robbed an elderly woman in Tuzla.

Since O1 entered the witness protection program for this trial, he has no longer appeared in this court proceeding due to the robbery of the elderly woman. He was convicted of several frauds in Banovići committed between June 2002 and May 2003. He served his sentence in prison in Tuzla for that.

Orić's defense has submitted evidence to the Court that witness O1 was previously prepared for testimony in Serbia, specifically in the Serbian Ministry of Interior, and that he was not a member of the Army of the Republic of BiH.
