Tuesday's KS Assembly to Feature More Legal Amendments, Taxes, Forests, Waters

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The second continuation of the 45th working session of the KS Assembly, which began on November 30th and was postponed twice, will be held on Tuesday.

The agenda includes the remaining four items: delegate questions, initiatives, and answers; Proposal of the Decision approving the establishment of the scientific research institute for biomedical engineering, medical devices, and artificial intelligence Verification Laboratory “Verlab” d.o.o. Sarajevo, as an institution named “Scientific Research Institute Verlab for Biomedical Engineering, Medical Devices, and Artificial Intelligence”; Report on the work and financial operations of the Public Institution General Hospital “Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš“ for 2020; and Report on the work of the Legal Affairs Office of Sarajevo Canton for 2020.

Following the conclusion of this session, the 46th working session of the KS Assembly will commence, with several Draft Laws on Amendments and Supplements to several laws on its agenda: Draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Real Estate Transfer Tax and Inheritance and Gift Tax; Draft Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Law on Forests of Sarajevo Canton; Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Waters of Sarajevo Canton; as well as the Draft Law on the Cantonal Agency for Investment Attraction and Privatization.

Delegates will also consider the Proposal of the Development Strategy of Sarajevo Canton 2021-2027, and several decisions.

Also on the agenda is the Study on the Health Status of the Population, Determinants of Health, and Healthcare in Sarajevo Canton in 2020, with the Opinion of the Ministry of Health and a Proposal of Measures to Improve the Health Status of the Population in Sarajevo Canton.
