Criminal wanted on eight warrants arrested in Tuzla

(Patria) - A person from Živinice, for whom eight warrants had been issued by police and judicial authorities, was arrested in the Tuzla settlement of Miladije after attempting to flee from the police, and was found with 1.5 kilograms of drugs, weapons, ammunition, and over 50,000 KM.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver, S. S. /39/, ignored the order and tried to flee but was brought under control.

A search of S. S. and the person found in the vehicle, as well as the car, revealed 1.5 kilograms of speed, a pistol with a round in the chamber and a magazine, two digital scales, 2,760 euros, 49,140 KM, three mobile phones with SIM cards, a GPS device, and other items related to drug abuse.

Of the eight warrants issued for S. S., two are from the Zenica Penitentiary in connection with drug abuse and trafficking, it was announced today from the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton.

The arrested individual will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office for further proceedings.
