Woman killed in Tuzla, man she lived with taken to UKC with stomach injuries

(Patria) - A woman was killed today in the Tuzla settlement of Lipnica, and the man she lived with sustained stomach injuries for which he was transported to the University Clinical Center (UKC) Tuzla, writes Faktor.

- The duty service of the Zapad Police Station was informed today around 11:50 AM by a citizen that his friends, initials S.B. and E.S.T., residing in Lipnica, were not answering their phone calls, and that E.S.T., a foreign national, had contacted him via video call shortly before reporting to the police, during which he noticed that E.S.T. was bloody and that S.B. was lying in bed - announced Adnana Sprečić, spokesperson for the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton.

- A police patrol and an emergency medical team from the Tuzla Health Center were dispatched to the scene.

- Forced entry was made into the apartment where the named individuals were located, where the lifeless body of a female, initials S.B., was found. Her death was confirmed at the scene by the duty doctor from the Emergency Medical Service.

- The man, E.S.T., was found with visible injuries to his stomach and was transported to UKC Tuzla to receive medical assistance - said Sprečić.

- The duty prosecutor of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office and the investigation team of the Criminal Police Sector of the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton are at the scene, undertaking all further measures and actions under the prosecutor's orders.

- The duty prosecutor will issue an order for an autopsy of the deceased's body to determine the exact cause of death. We will be able to provide more information after the investigation, autopsy, and necessary investigative actions are completed - stated Admir Arnautović, spokesperson for the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office.
