Homeless man in Tuzla, on whom businessmen fictitiously registered companies, killed

(Patria) - Tuzla's homeless man Sabalahajrudin Suljagić was killed last night, Istraga.ba learns.

His mutilated body was found in an apartment in Tuzla owned by one of the more well-known local small-time drug dealers.

The apartment owner, Erdzan B., has been arrested, but he denies committing the murder. Several machetes were also found in the apartment.

The murdered Suljagić was the main character in a story published by Radio Free Europe in 2012.

During the war, he lost both parents and, as a war orphan, was placed in a home in Sarajevo. When he turned 18 and left the home, he became homeless. In 2012, he lived on the streets of Tuzla and slept in the city's mosque.



What is particularly interesting is that several pharmaceutical companies were registered in this homeless man's name.

The actual owner of one of those companies was businessman Davud Zahirović from Gračanica, who died in 2021.

Due to these manipulations, lawyer Suad Suljić was arrested in Tuzla in 2020.

He was charged, as announced by the Prosecutor's Office at the time, with having, as a lawyer for the company "Bosnafarm," owned by Zahirović, the former president of FK Sloboda, carried out the re-registration of the founder, director, and company headquarters address, transferring them to Sabalahajrudin Suljagić, a homeless man from Tuzla with no income.
