Selma Baluković (48) killed yesterday in Tuzla: All evidence points to her Hungarian husband as the killer

(Patria) - The acting prosecutor of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office and investigators from the Criminal Police Sector of the Tuzla Canton Ministry of Interior are conducting all necessary investigative actions to establish the factual situation regarding the discovery of the body of Selma Baluković (48) in her family home in the suburban settlement of Lipnica.

- The deceased woman had injuries to her neck and a stab wound in the chest area, and an autopsy of the body will be performed today to determine the exact cause of her death - said the spokesperson of the Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office, Admir Arnautović.

He states that her husband, a fifty-year-old Hungarian citizen, was also found in the house, who was also injured and has stab wounds in the abdominal area.

The Hungarian underwent surgery yesterday, and the spokesperson of the University Clinical Center Tuzla, Ersija Aščerić-Mujedinović, where he is being treated, confirmed that he is now breathing spontaneously and is in stable condition.

- The on-site investigation was conducted yesterday, and all necessary traces of biological origin were collected, as well as items relevant to establishing the facts related to the murder.

He emphasizes that investigators are conducting interviews with certain individuals who may have knowledge of the events that preceded the woman's murder.

- The deceased woman and her husband have a certain degree of disability. The Hungarian citizen is an immobile person, while the murdered Selma Baluković could move, but with limitations - added Arnautović.
