Pilots of the Transport Helicopter Squadron (ETH) from the 93rd Air Force Base of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defence (HRZ and PZO) from Zadar transported a two-year-old boy, a drowned person, and a pregnant woman from Dubrovnik to the Clinical Hospital Center Split on Wednesday, the Ministry of Defence (MORH) announced on Thursday, reports the Patria News Agency.
The helicopter crew first transported the child, and after that mission, on their way back to the base, they received a new call for urgent care of a pregnant woman from Dubrovnik.
The rescue operations ended around 5 PM, and the request for the engagement of a military helicopter was sent through the County Center 112 Dubrovnik.
The ETH helicopter crew in both operations consisted of Captain Major Krešimir Matan, co-pilot Lieutenant Marko Filipović-Grčić, and flight technicians Warrant Officer Leonardo Dumanić and Staff Sergeant Velimir Bešić, writes Index.
