Suspect in attempted murder in Germany arrested in Tomislavgrad

(Patria) - Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) today arrested a person in the Tomislavgrad area based on an international Interpol warrant.

The international warrant was issued by the NCB Interpol of the Federal Republic of Germany with the aim of arresting and extraditing the said person to Germany for criminal prosecution for the criminal offense of "Attempted Murder."

Based on operational information, SIPA police officers - operational team "Fast" located the said person in the Tomislavgrad area, after which he was arrested and brought to SIPA premises.

The arrest was carried out in cooperation with the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton 10.

The arrested person will be handed over to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina within the legal deadline for further proceedings.
