Ecological action underway: "Collect Swity, Protect the Environment"

Fruit and vegetable processing plant Swity d.o.o. from Gradačac has launched a waste collection campaign called "Collect Swity, Protect the Environment". It is a competition for 19 primary schools from the area of four cities in BiH, Sarajevo, Zenica, Tuzla, and Gračanica, in collecting the largest possible amount of empty Swity juice packaging in Tetra Pak. The project runs from May 1 to June 20, when the winners will be announced, i.e., the schools and classes that collect the most waste.

- We want to achieve three goals. The first goal is to strengthen ecological awareness among students and teachers, i.e., that our packaging does not end up somewhere in nature. The second goal is to raise awareness about buying domestic products, because in this way we strengthen the domestic economy, as well as education, healthcare, and everything important for success and development. And the third goal is to raise awareness among the youngest about the need to consume healthy juices as part of a healthy diet, because it is known that we in Swity juices use exclusively fresh fruits and vegetables in a controlled quality production process. All juices are without preservatives and sweeteners, because most sweeteners found in juices marketed in our country are not suitable for consumption and some of them are banned in the EU - said Merim Stupar, brand manager at Swity d.o.o.

Swity company has also provided prizes for the winners, which will help them improve the quality of teaching. The winning school in all four cities will receive a projector with accompanying equipment, while the winning school in each city individually will win a laptop. The best class in the winning school in each of the four cities will receive school supplies for the next school year.
