No members of the Armed Forces of BiH among casualties in terrorist attack in Ankara

According to information available to the Ministry of Defence of BiH, there are no casualties among members of the Armed Forces of BiH who are on training in the Republic of Turkey in the terrorist attack that occurred in Ankara on 17 February 2016, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

According to information so far, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey have confirmed that buses transporting soldiers were attacked in front of a facility used by the Turkish military, killing at least 28 people and wounding at least 61 people.

Regarding this tragic event, the Minister of Defence of BiH, Marina Pendeš, sent a telegram of condolence to the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Turkey, Ismet Yilmaz, expressing sympathy for the suffering of innocent military and civilian persons. (av)
