Firearms used in migrant clash, six people at KCUS, police forces on the ground

(Patria) - At 9:25 PM, the Ilidža Police Department was notified that a clash between migrants had occurred on Kamenolom Street, and that firearms were used.

Currently, six men are at KCUS, receiving medical treatment. The severity of their injuries is unknown.

The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton has been informed, and police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton are on the ground, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced.

As reported by the portal Istraga, at least five people were wounded in the shooting that occurred tonight near the Blažuj migrant camp.



This information was also confirmed by the Service for Foreigners' Affairs. Two injured migrants are in life-threatening condition.

A clash occurred between two criminal groups of migrants who organize human smuggling. The physical confrontation ultimately resulted in the use of firearms. Automatic rifles were fired.

A Patria reporter went to the scene where they found dozens of police officers, members of the Special Police Unit, and armored vehicles. The police operation at the Blažuj camp will continue late into the night.
