Explosive device thrown on Trg ZAVNOBiH-a on Saturday evening, several buildings and cars damaged

(Patria) - An unknown explosive device was activated on Trg ZAVNOBiH-a street on Saturday evening, and the Novi Grad Police Department received the report at 11:15 PM.

"Police officers were dispatched to the scene who confirmed the report's claims. No one was injured, but material damage occurred to several buildings and vehicles. The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed about the incident, who qualified the event as the criminal offense of Causing General Danger under Article 323 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the criminal offense of Damaging Another's Property under Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that an investigation should be conducted at the scene when conditions permit.

Police officers continue to work on documenting the mentioned criminal offense and finding its perpetrator," the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced.
