Names of 102 murdered children from Prijedor read in the heart of Sarajevo

A performance was held in front of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Sarajevo, organized by the AntiDayton group, the Generacija X association from Denmark, and students of the "Fatima Gunić" Primary School.

3,176 prepared white ribbons were distributed to the citizens of Sarajevo to commemorate the genocide committed in Prijedor, writes Patria.

52 school desks and 102 school chairs were placed in front of the Sarajevo Cathedral. After the improvised school bell on the loudspeaker, students took their places at the desks and waited for the start of the lesson. After the second school bell, the teacher symbolically began calling out the names of 102 murdered children from Prijedor. After each name was called, one of the children at the desks who had "adopted" the called name stood up and left the school desk, standing aside with a white ribbon tied around their arm.

A large number of Sarajevo citizens watched this performance in silence and paid their respects in their own way, and many also had white ribbons around their arms.
