Man arrested in Sarajevo, suspected of murdering his wife, his mother and an accomplice

(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, have arrested 36-year-old G.R. for the criminal offense of Murder (Article 166. CC FBiH) and 76-year-old L.R. for the criminal offense of Complicity in Murder (Article 166. in conjunction with Article 31. CC FBiH), and 67-year-old L.J. for the criminal offenses of Failure to Report a Criminal Offense or Perpetrator (Article 345. CC FBiH) and Aiding the Perpetrator After the Commission of a Criminal Offense (Article 346. CC FBiH) to the detriment of 38-year-old N.R. from Sarajevo, according to a joint statement from the MUP and the KS Prosecutor's Office.

Police officers found the lifeless body of 38-year-old woman N.R. in an apartment on Kolodvorska Street, who had been killed several days prior. The deceased's husband, G.R. (1988), and his mother, L.R. (1948), have been arrested for this criminal offense. Objects and traces of the commission of the criminal offense were found in the apartment. L.J. (1957) from Sarajevo was arrested on suspicion that he knew about N.R.'s death and that he provided assistance to the perpetrators.

The body of the deceased has been transported to the Bare morgue, and an autopsy will be performed under the prosecutor's order.

All arrested individuals are in the official premises of the Police Directorate, and after criminal processing, they will be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
