(Patria) - Police officers of the Department for Combating Narcotic Drug Abuse, under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, carried out an operation codenamed "Delivery" with the aim of documenting criminal offenses of unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs.
During the search of the apartment and accompanying facilities in the Centar municipality used by the suspect, 12 PVC packages containing a substance that visually resembles the narcotic drug marijuana, with a total gross weight of approximately 440 grams, and other items of interest to the investigation were found and seized.
A 31-year-old male, A.D. from Sarajevo, was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs (Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of FBiH). Criminal processing is being carried out on the suspect in the official premises of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, after which he will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
