Trial of monsters, Goran and Leđiba Ravlić, begins in Sarajevo

(Patria) - The trial of Goran Ravlić and his mother Leđiba began today at the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo for one of the most brutal murders committed in recent years in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We remind you that Goran and Leđiba Ravlić are accused of mentally and physically abusing Goran's wife, Nermina, and ultimately killing her, from mid-May to June 28, 2024, in an apartment in the Pofalići neighborhood of Sarajevo. The manner in which they treated Nermina before she died, as described by the Prosecution in the indictment, is particularly horrific.

The two are accused of initially denying the 38-year-old any form of communication with the outside world, destroying her mobile phone, and forbidding her from leaving the apartment.

After that, they starved her, cut her hair, pulled it out, and tied her hands so she could not resist. They sexually abused her and inflicted more than 100 injuries, including bites, burns, fractures, and injuries to her genitals. She later died from the inflicted injuries.

They kept the victim's body in the apartment for days. To cover up the unpleasant odors and the murder, they used various air fresheners and scented candles.

In addition to the mother and son, Latif Jašarević is also charged in this case, accused of helping them cover up the traces.

On Leđiba Ravlić's orders, the accused Goran and Latif repeatedly purchased an axe, a saw, a set of knives, several plastic containers that maintain the appropriate temperature, ammonia cartridges for portable refrigerators, a meat grinder, several rolls of adhesive tape, garbage bags, plastic gloves, plastic suits, protective masks, and several disinfectants and cleaning agents at shopping malls, in order to dispose of the body and conceal the crime.
