SARAJEVO, (Patria) - By cutting the ribbon at the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, a new military discount store (AAFES) was opened today.
AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Services) has been present in BiH since 1996, after the US and NATO deployed almost 60,000 soldiers to the region as part of the Implementation Force (IFOR) following the signing of the Dayton Peace Agreement in 1995, NATO BiH announced on their Facebook page.
Their motto, "We go where you go," has remained relevant throughout all these years, and AAFES continues to deliver necessities and contribute to making the stay of US and NATO soldiers far from their homes more comfortable.
