The Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies and the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law in Freiburg are organizing an international conference in Sarajevo, which will be attended by more than thirty experts from law and other faculties in the region, who will present the current state of prison systems in their countries, reports the Patria news agency.
The conference will open today at 4:00 PM at the Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo and will run from September 19.
This significant gathering in Sarajevo is held with financial support from the Max Planck Society.
The Max Planck Partner Group was jointly established by the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law and the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 2013, based on a decision by the Max Planck Society - the most successful German scientific organization. Since then, MPPG has conducted scientific research and connected a regional network of experts in the field of criminology and criminal justice, reports NAP.
