320 hair donors in Sarajevo for wigs for children with cancer

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In the final humanitarian action My Hair-Your Hair, organized by the Association "Heart for Children with Cancer" with the help of ambassadors and partners, Sarajevo today set a record.

During the day, 320 donations of hair were made, and the Association expressed words of gratitude for the response from Sarajevans, citizens, and girls who gave their hair for wig making. They also thanked the hairdressers who did a great job. 

In almost two years, there have been 1,600 donors, of which more than 70 percent were girls. So far, 23 wigs have been made. 

Amra Džeko, ambassador of the Association "Heart for Children with Cancer", also attended today's event, and she has visited the Parents' House, where children and their parents stay during the treatment process for the terrible disease, on multiple occasions.
