(Patria) - In a serious traffic accident that occurred on the night from Saturday to Sunday in Osijek, the driver was killed after his car skidded out of a curve, hit a pole and a tree, after which the vehicle was thrown into a streetlight pole. Four people were seriously injured.
Firefighters had to intervene. After being extracted from the vehicle, they were transported to the Osijek Clinical Hospital Center. Two people in extremely critical condition are fighting for their lives in intensive care. The other injured are stable.
The accident occurred around 0:50 on Cara Hadrijana Street when the driver, due to inappropriate speed, left the road while exiting a curve. After leaving the road, he hit a pole and a tree, and finally the vehicle was thrown into a streetlight pole, where it stopped.
Herzegovinian portals Hercegovina.info and Bljesak report that the deceased is D.Š. (born 1977) from Mostar.
