On Monday evening, a serious traffic accident occurred on the Blažuj - Ilidža road, in which two people sustained injuries.
The collision involved a VW Tiguan driven by 19-year-old D.N., with minor S.S. in the passenger seat, and a Mercedes driven by H.A., born in 1981 in Brčko, residing in Sarajevo.
Driver D.N. sustained serious bodily injuries, while S.S. sustained minor bodily injuries. The injured received medical assistance at the General Hospital "Prim. dr. Abdulah Nakaš" and the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS).
To make matters worse, after the traffic accident, the "Tiguan" vehicle caught fire. The fire was extinguished by members of the Sarajevo Canton Fire Department. Fortunately, there were no injuries, while the vehicle sustained material damage.
The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed. The investigation was conducted by police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton and an authorized court expert in traffic engineering.
