At least 50 people were killed in a suicide bomb attack near a city park in Pakistan's Lahore, police said, reports the Patria news agency.
The explosion occurred in a parking area near the entrance gate of Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, in the immediate vicinity of children's swings.
"At least 38 people have been killed and more than a hundred injured," police official Mustansar Feroz told Reuters. "Most of the dead and wounded are women and children."
Rescuers confirmed that more than 30 bodies were transported to hospital morgues. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, reports Index.
