Four miners killed in Kakanj mine: Nermin Mušija, Mijo Stojičić, Sejad Gađun and Muhamed Sarač

In the Begić-Bištrani pit of the Kakanj mine, a serious accident occurred tonight at one hour past midnight during the third shift, in which four miners were killed and two were injured, reports the Patria news agency.

Killed were Nermin Mušija (1977), employed since 2013, no children, worked as a loader.

Mijo Stojičić (1976), married with two children, loader.

Sejad Gađun (1971), two children, loader.

Muhamed Sarač (1968), married, one child, loader.

Injured were Haris Mušija (1972), employed since 1997 as a supervisor, and Džemal Ibrahimspahić (1980), employed since 2010 as a loader.

The surviving miners safely left the mine pit. The investigation is being led by the Federal Mining Inspectorate.
