In shooting in Zagreb, brother of Lika restaurateur Macola killed

In the Zagreb neighborhood of Sigečica, police are investigating the cause of death of a man whose body was found after 9 PM in Lopudska Street, reports the news agency Patria.

The 53-year-old man killed last night in Zagreb is Franjo Orešković - Macola, the brother of Lika entrepreneur Željko Orešković – Macola. The killed Franjo was on several occasions a participant in incident situations, mostly committed while intoxicated, reports Lika online.

Recall, witnesses say they saw a dead body on the road, which police covered after arriving at the scene along with an ambulance. Residents claim they heard a gunshot before the body was found, and a man was seen running nearby, writes Index.
