36-year-old injured in shooting

In yesterday's shooting in Sarajevo, J.H. (1978) was injured, sustaining a gunshot wound to the left upper arm, the BH News Agency Patria has learned.

According to Muamera Šehić, spokesperson for the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS), the patient was treated at the Clinic for Orthopedics and Traumatology and remains hospitalized.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton stated that yesterday around 1:50 PM, the Second Police Administration was informed that the injured J.H. had arrived at KCUS. He stated that he sustained his injuries from a firearm - a pistol - at the intersection of Zvornička Street and the branch of Behdžeta Mutevelića Street, inflicted by an unknown person from a VW Golf II vehicle.

Police officers are working to clarify the incident and find the perpetrator.
