SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Around 6 a.m. this morning, Croatian police received a report that a person was wounded by a firearm in Kolanjski Gajac on Pag, in the Katarelac area.
It is one of the beaches near the popular Zrće. As seen in a video circulating on social media, the conflict occurred in front of a nightclub.
Police officers were dispatched to the scene, and a person linked to the incident was soon brought to the police station.
The injured man died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. An investigation is underway at the scene, and a criminal inquiry is ongoing to establish all the facts and circumstances of the event, reports Index.hr.
Meanwhile, during the past night, police officers of the Novalja Police Station found drugs on eight people at Zrće beach.
"2.9 grams of the drug amphetamine, 2.8 grams of the drug marijuana, 10 ecstasy tablets, 0.5 grams of the drug MDMA, 0.3 grams of the drug cocaine, 0.2 grams of the drug ketamine, and a joint," stated the Lika-Senj Police Department.
